This programme is designed for those students who were unable to previously achieve their GCSEs. Our Introductory course in Performing Arts includes;. musical theatre tasters, singing, street dance, jazz dance and acting. The combination of all these disciplines, alongside studying english and mathematics, will give you a great qualification to progress to further study.
Our Level 2 performing arts programme will give you the foundations to build on for a professional career in Performance, Musical Theatre or Dance. The programme has been designed to develop range of performance skills , including dance, acting, singing and performance. You will also learn about the business and promotional side of the performing arts industry. This is incredibly interesting and will give you a great insight into the creative industry. This will include some historical knowledge which will help you understand the history behind our current performance world.
On our BTEC Level 3 programme you will learn advanced performance techniques and styles.This will improve your own performance levels and you will advance to a more professional level. You will perform regularly in professional performances as well as learning a wide range of performance skills from the singing , dancing and acting tutors within your course. You will be able to progress to a higher level of study or work in the industry following your BTEC course with us.
